Ryanair to launch new Canary Islands flights

Ryanair will launch flights between East Midlands Airport and two of the Canary Islands this winter. The new services are among 39 new UK routes announced by the airline to take advantage of a 100% reduction in Spanish airport costs this winter.
Flights from East Midlands to Gran Canaria and Lanzarote will start in late October. Ryanair is offering 20,000 'free' flights across the 39 routes to mark the launch, passengers just pay taxes and their usual plethora of charges - which means they are not free after all.
