New names for East Midlands Airport car parks

Just in time for the peak summer season – and after thousands of customers have already booked airport parking for their holiday – East Midlands Airport has renamed two of its car parks.
Car Park 6 is now called Long Stay 6 – Shuttle Plus
Car Park 7 is now called Long Stay 7 – Shuttle Economy 1
Why do airports do this – make unnecessary changes just before the summer peak? Why could it not wait until the autumn? It is bound to confuse thousands of passengers unnecessarily - during what is already a stressful journey. Well done !
