Roadworks warning

Overnight resurfacing and road maintenance works will be taking place on the A453 between M1 Junction 24 and Crusader roundabout at Clifton from February 5 - 12, affecting passengers travelling to or from East Midlands Airport.
The roadworks will require overnight lane closures (in both directions). Diversionary routes will be implemented. The resurfacing work would be carried out between:
- Monday - Thursday: 20:00 - 05:30
- Friday: 21:00 – 06:00
- Saturday: 20:00 – 06:00
- Sunday: 21:00 – 05:00
Diversions will be in place, with one taking passengers on a detour of more than 12 miles. Signposts will be in place, and passengers have been advised to allow extra time for their journey. For more information visit the airport website.
