Airtours announce Jamaica flights

Airtours will launch flight to Jamaica from East Midlands Airport this summer, the Travel Trade Gazette reports. The flights will be the first service to the Caribbean island from the midlands.
The airline will launch weekly flights on the route on July 18, flying direct to Montego Bay. Airtours will also offer holidays a number of resorts on the island as well as itineraries and wedding and honeymoon services.
Penny Coates, the managing director of East Midlands Airport, said: 'The addition of flights to Jamaica to our ever growing list of destinations is a real coup for the airport. We will be the only airport in the Midlands region to offer this regular service and we're sure it will prove to be a very popular choice.'
