New boss for bmibaby

Former MyTravelLite boss Julian Carr is to succeed Crawford Riix as the managing director of bmibaby, moving up from his present role as the airline’s commercial director.
Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, the newly appointed CEO of parent BMI, said: ‘We're delighted to welcome Julian as bmibaby’s new managing director. He is the right person to lead the airline to the next stage of its development.'
‘Julian has in depth aviation expertise, proven strategic capability, and has demonstrated his management skills in various roles. He is also passionate about the business.’
