Airport takes award for third year running

East Midlands Airport has been named the ‘Star Regional Airport' at the Travel Bulletin 2009 Star Awards for the third year running. It took the title this year ahead of other finalists Stansted, Bournemouth and Liverpool.
Voted for by UK travel agents, the Travel Bulletin Star Awards are designed to celebrate the the travel trade's favourites. Caroline Plant, East Midlands Airport's Marketing Director, said: ‘We are extremely proud to have secured this award, which recognises our achievements over the last year. The award clearly demonstrates the confidence, trust and respect our travel partners place in us.’
