French strike hits 2500 passengers

Sixteen departures and arrivals at East Midlands Airport were cancelled yesterday as a result of strike action by French air traffic controllers. Around 2500 passengers were affected after Ryanair cancelled a number of services.
The strike in France is due to finish today, and Ryanair said all services would be back to normal as soon as possible. Passengers have been advised to check with the airline if they have any queries.
