New airport boss announced

Brad Miller, the Projects and Procurement Director at Manchester Airports Group, has named the new Managing Director of East Midlands Airport, replacing Penny Coates from October 4.
Last month it was announced that Penny Coates, the MD of all of MAG's regional airports, would be promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at MAG. She takes up her new role on September 15.
In his current role, Mr Miller has responsibility for overseeing all core property and asset construction projects including terminals, runways and airfield. This role saw him liasing with contractors, designers, architects, surveyors, consultants; bringing them all together to ensure that projects were completed on time and to budget. He was instrumental in the terminal redevelopments that were launched at Manchester in 2009.
