£4m worth of fake goods seized

Counterfeit goods with an estimated market value of £4m were seized from East Midlands Airport last year, double the value from the previous year. Fake hair straighteners and computer games were among the most common finds, officials said.
The UK Border Agency said the fake goods were often dangerous. The agency said most of the good were intended to be sold through internet auction sites or at car boot sales. They warned that if the price of a designer item seemed too good to be true, it probably was !
