Try fish feet therapy at East Midlands Airport
11.02.11
From tomorrow (Saturday) passengers using East Midlands Airport will be able to enjoy pedicure or manicure given by live fish. Silky Soles is opening a station at the hub, and follows launches at Manchester Airport Terminal 2 and Belfast International Airport.
Flyers looking to treat themselves can place their hands or feet in a tank that houses live Garra Rufa fish, who will 'gently' remove (eat) dry and hard skin from hands and feet, leaving them feeling soft and smooth ahead of their trip.
Sue Taylor, managing director of Silky Soles, said: ‘We are delighted to showcase Silky Soles to a new audience at the airport. We look forward to building on customers' 'holiday morale' by enabling them to pamper themselves and relax before leaving for their holidays.'
