New Goa flights popular

A new flight from East Midlands Airport to Goa, the Airport’s first Indian Ocean destination, is already proving to be one of its 'hottest' routes. In the first month 99% of the seats on the new route were snapped up and First Choice has already announced that it will operate the flights for the whole of next winter.
Caroline Plant, Director of Marketing at the airport, said: ‘Goa is the our first Indian Ocean destination and we have had an overwhelming response to the introduction of this service. To only have 10 seats left for the first month is a great achievement for any new destination. We are delighted that people from the region are keen to sample this unique location.’
First Choice Holidays provide a weekly service to Goa from East Midlands until 17 April, offering 7 and 14 night breaks. The holiday company has already announced a full winter programme to the island for 2008 / 09, starting on 4th November 2008.
