Traffic warning over motorbike race this weekend

Passengers using East Midlands Airport this weekend (including today) have been advised to leave extra time for their journey, as it there is motorbike racing at Donington Park.
Additional traffic will be on the roads surrounding the airport over the weekend due to the British Superbike Championship. Traffic management systems will be in place during the event, with additional road signs, traffic lights and the marshalling of traffic within the area.
