Airport bus celebrates 1 millionth passenger

The Nottingham Skylink bus link to East Midlands Airport celebrated its millionth passenger last week. The lucky passenger won a holiday to Goa with First Choice, travelling from the airport in February next year.
Holidaymakers on the millionth passenger bus travelled free, were entertained with a magician performing close-up magic tricks on their journey and received a commemorative goodie bag with Skylink goodies and prizes.
The service, which began in May 2004, has seen passenger figures increase over 100% year on year. East Midlands Airport Bus Partnership Manager, Kelly McHugh, said: 'This amazing milestone is a tribute to the quality and reliability of Skylink.'
