Airport bus celebrates first birthday with ticket offer

The Leicester Skylink bus service to East Midlands Airport is celebrating its first birthday with a special half-price family ticket offer. During October passengers going to the Skylink website and registering to travel will pay just £10 for a family of two adults and up to three children on the route. Registration is quick and easy and a voucher will be sent automatically, either to an email address or to a home address.
The Leicester Skylink bus service operates hourly from St Margaret's bus station during the day and every two hours from Abbey Street at night, seven days a week. Kelly McHugh, manager the East Midlands Airport Bus Partnership, said: 'We are celebrating another successful year for Leicester Skylink. We have now had a full summer season and this has helped our passenger figures to grow to around 1000 a week.'
