Those travelling through East Midlands Airport this weekend - between Friday (June 9) and Monday (June 12) - should be aware that a music festival in the area that may cause transport delays. People driving to the airport should be aware that temporary traffic lights will be in operation and there may be diversion signs in place in the area.
The airport has issued travel advice warning that the Download Music Festival, which takes place over the weekend, could cause traffic jams and delays around the area of the airport and Donington Park. East Midlands Airport has advised travellers to arrive with plenty of time to spare and to check in at least two hours before the scheduled departure time.
