Passenger traffic warning

Passengers heading to or from East Midlands Airport today have belatedly been warned of additional traffic near the airport. Congestion is expected within the vicinity because of a fundraising event - Save Donington - being held at close by Castle Donington circuit, with extra traffic today from 09:00.
A spokesperson for the airport said: ‘We always suggest that people arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure. However this weekend we would advise that customers allow extra time for their journey.’
