Traffic warning this weekend

The International Style and Tuning Show is being held at Donington Park this weekend. All passengers, visitors and staff are therefore urged to allow plenty of extra time to get to East Midlands Airport as there will be increased levels of traffic. Passengers are also reminded of possible delays due to the M1 Widening Scheme.
A Traffic Management System will be in operation on the road adjacent to the airport, with temporary traffic lights at the Melbourne Lane Junction onto the A453 today and tomorrow between 07.00 and 19.00. Major roads and motorways leading to this airport are not affected by the traffic management system, however they are likely to be busy.
