Ryanair launch 'easyJet rescue fare'

Ryanair have launched 'rescue fares' for passengers who have had their travel plans disrupted by easyJet’s plan axe East Midlands Airport flights. This £35 (one way including taxes and charges) fare applies to flights to / from Alicante, Barcelona (Girona), Faro and Malaga from 10th January 2010.
The flights can be booked via www.ryanair.com/member/Easyjetrescuefare.html until September 15, and apply to easyJet passengers only. Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said: ‘We would like to ensure that the very few passengers who were misguided enough to book with easyJet can still travel.’
