The new Radisson Blu Hotel East Midlands Airport has made £1m of pre-opening sales, with almost a month still to go before its first guests arrive. In addition to passengers flying from the airport booking rooms, businesses have reserved the hotel's conference facilities, and even booked Christmas parties in coming months.
The £22m airport hotel will have 218 rooms when it opens later this month. It has been awarded an energy performance certification rating of two, making it the most efficient hotel in Rezidor's European portfolio of 400 hotels.
